Called to make oil change appointment and Joe Sr. told me that they were pretty booked up at the time and day that I wanted. However, he stated that he would fit me in if I didn't mind it taking a little longer than normal. Since it was the only day I had free, I went ahead and scheduled.
There really wasn't anything too spectacular to expect as this was a new vehicle and the first oil change on it. However, while I was waiting, there was another gentleman who had brought his vehicle in for an oil leak (I think).
What happened next is not what you expect from companies today but is what has become a rather routine expectation from Mazur's Total Automotive - Howell. You see, the mechanic had discovered that the gasket was missing between the oil filter and engine. Long story short Mazur's Total Automotive - Howell figured out the issue for this gentleman and took care of the problem so he wouldn't have the leak any longer. This required an oil change and some parts but when it was all said and done, Joe Sr. told the man (who had his oil changed previously at a different location) that there would be no charge as he didn't see the need to charge him for a second oil change in such a short period of time.
So, the customer had gone to a different place which caused the problem and he then came to Mazur's Total Automotive - Howell who fixed the problem and didn't even charge him even though they didn't cause the issue. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE as usual which is why I don't take my vehicles anywhere else when they need service.
